Executive Team
Dimitri Goulandris
Executive Director & Board Member
Dimitri is a founder of KSI, Knightsbridge School London and the founder and Managing Partner of Cycladic Capital LLP, set up in 2002 to focus on making public and private investments in small and medium sized companies with a particular focus on greenfield startâups. Previously Dimitri set up and ran the European operations of the private equity firm, Whitney & Company, and spent eight years at Morgan Stanley in the private equity group and investment banking. He currently serves on the Boards of Journey Group plc., Gemini Equipment & Rentals (Private) Limited and MonuRent Limited (Mauritius). Dimitri is also a Director and Advisory Board member of Knightsbridge School Limited. Dimitri has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Masters in Electrical and Information Sciences from Cambridge University.
Ursula Ings-Chambers
Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO)
Ursula joined KSI in September 2013 from the first Venture Capital-backed school in the UK. Ursula was an integral member of the executive team responsible for the build, set up and management of this highly successful school, achieving outstanding accolades and profitability within its first year of operation. Qualified in 1994, Ursula has worked for a number of global companies in the property, hotel, telecoms and IT sectors with roles based in Sydney, London, Los Angeles and Cape Town. Ursula brings to KSI her experience and strengths in managing start-up operations, controlling investment funds and providing financial and operational leadership for international groups. Ursula is a member of the ASCPA and graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with honours.
Anita Bird
Human Resources Director
Having graduated from Bristol University, Anita started her career in industry, initially in a range of general management roles prior to specialising in HR. Following European HR Directorships in high-tech and IT companies, Anita established her own consultancy business in 1999. Specialising in translating business strategy into all strands of HR practice, Anita has built on her technology background, providing strategic and operational advice for organisations in education, the third sector and publishing.
Marika Ristanovska
Investors Manager & Finance Coordinator
Marika gained her BA degree in Banking with Economics and Law at London Metropolitan University and then obtained her postgraduate diploma in Business Administration at Leicester University. She is a qualified overseas teacher with previous experience in the business environment.
Magoo Giles
Chief Ethos Officer
Magoo is the founder of Knightsbridge School. Previously he was the Headmaster of Garden House Boys’ School from 2000 – 2006. He was commissioned in to the Coldstream Guards. He also served as Aide de Camp to Lieutenant General the Hon Sir William Rous for two years and Personal Equerry to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for two years. Magoo is a keen sportsman whose other interests include “children, travel, public speaking/entertaining, writing children’s stories and his family”. Magoo was educated at Eton College.
Dante Panetta
Marketing & Communications Manager
Dante is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in various industries. Known for his leadership in marketing, Dante has a broad skill set that includes both marketing strategies and web development. He played key roles at Zebra Food and Over Glam as a Lead Marketer and contributed his marketing web development expertise at Hornbill. Dante’s work has consistently driven success, showcasing his ability to blend traditional and digital marketing effectively.

Board of Directors
Richard Tangye
Chairman
Richard is Chairman of KSI. He is the Director of Education for an Australian Charity, Better Timor, investing in education in Timor Leste. He has broad international experience in both education and business with his previous roles including being Principal of St Dominic’s International School Lisbon, CEO of the STS Educational Group in Bangladesh and CEO of the International School Dhaka. He has been directly involved in building new international schools across Asia and was for five years a member of the IB Asia Pacific Regional Council. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Council of International Schools (ÒCISÓ) from 2004 to 2010. Prior to joining CIS, Richard was the Chief Executive of the Restaurant Group for Jardine Matheson Holdings (one of the largest YUM brands franchisee with 300 restaurants across Asia), where he launched and operated businesses across the Asia-Pacific for sixteen years. Richard began his career as a teacher with VSO and then spent nine years in international management with the SGS Group. He was educated at Winchester College and holds an MA in Economics and Politics from Cambridge.

William Russell
Board Member
William is a founder of Knightsbridge School in London and serves as Chairman of the KS Board of Advisors. He is a former Managing Director of Merrill Lynch Securities and is currently an investor in a number of private businesses. He is a Governor of Adams Grammar and the Abraham Darby Academy, a Trustee of the Prostate Cancer UK. He was a previous Chairman of the Development Board of the Royal Court Theatre. He was educated at Eton College and Durham University.
Alex Bezugly
Board Member
Alex is currently responsible for a run-off of investment portfolio managed by Alfa Capital Partners, a Private Equity Firm dedicated to former Soviet Countries and Turkey. Prior to joining Alfa Capital Partners as Managing Director in March 2008, Mr Bezugly worked as Head of Private Equity at RIT Capital Partners plc, a closed-end listed investment trust chaired by Lord Jacob Rothschild. During his time at RIT, he was instrumental in setting up and co-managing private equity investments at TAU Capital PLC, a closed-end listed investment fund targeting Kazakhstan and Central Asia. In 1998-2002, he worked at M&A and Private Equity departments of Lehman Brothers in London. Mr. Bezugly commenced his career in 1996 with Creditanstalt Investment Bank in New York. Mr. Bezugly received his BA in Economics with Honors from the Moscow State University (Lomonosov). Mr. Bezugly was a Scholar at the London School of Economics. He is a British/Russian national.
